How the music works: (and why this is the best it’s EVER sounded)
As its software runs, the SNES mixes eight audio channels into stereo sound. These channels run all sound effects and music.

The “SNESX Emulator for Windows” allows these eight channels to be isolated and recorded individually.

The SNES (and Windows computers) generate a lot of circuit noise. Using Adobe Audition’s noise cancellation technology, this noise is removed from each track.

This sound wave, is CLEEEEEEAAANN.
Each channel is then brought into the final mix with unique equalization for maximum gnar.
The eight channels are re-mixed in 24-bit sound. Because the SNES is only 16-bit sound, the 24-bit only provides clarity between the 16-bit channels.
Occasionally light reverbs and other subtle effects are added to smooth out the musics’ presentation, but nothing to significantly alter the original SNES sound.
